Prodways ProMaker LD3 — Technical data

The ProMaker LD3 was Prodways' attempt in 2018 to offer a compact desktop unit alongside its large MOVINGLight systems. It was created with partner W2P and initially marketed as a dental package on a monthly subscription, including resins, training and support. A UV LED DLP projector at 385 nm with a 50 µm pixel size exposes a small build volume of 64 × 120 × 130 mm, with layers of 25–200 µm. At 400 × 400 × 545 mm, around 20 kg and 80 W power draw, it fits on any lab bench. It was intended for models, aligner templates, casting resins and surgical guides. It no longer appears in the current range.

When buying a used LD3, be aware that it often comes from a subscription or rental model; so clarify whether the unit is freely transferable and free of any contractual commitment. Check projector hours, the vat film or floor and the platform. As the software comes from the partner, the question of updates and licence matters. Surgical guide resins carry a medical device approval that can only be used with a validated workflow.
