Prodways ProMaker LD10 — Technical data

The ProMaker LD10 opened Prodways' LD dental series in early 2018 and was at the time the manufacturer's most affordable MOVINGLight unit. A UV LED DLP head travelling over the resin vat exposes a 300 × 445 × 200 mm build volume at a 42 µm pixel size, and layers from 25 µm are possible. The footprint is below 0.8 m², the unit measures 855 × 1,100 × 1,780 mm and weighs around 500 kg. Interchangeable platforms and vats of different heights were meant to reduce resin use per application. The target group was dental laboratories moving to digital models; in the current range the Dental Pro series has replaced it.

On the used market the LD10 is of interest to laboratories that print many models per day. Check projector hours, light output, the projector's linear axis and the condition of the vats and platforms, which should be part of the delivery. Ask for calibration records for dimensional accuracy, as dental models have tight tolerances. Whether Prodways still supplies spare parts, software and released resins for the predecessor model should be confirmed in writing before purchase.
