Prodways Dental Pro 20 — Technical data

The Dental Pro 20 is the twin-head variant of the 385 nm line within the Dental Pro series, which Prodways presented in October 2024. Two moving UV LED DLP projectors work simultaneously in the build volume of up to 300 × 445 × 350 mm; the manufacturer quotes up to 40 per cent more speed than the single-head model. Pixel size of 42 µm, layer thickness of 50–175 µm and light output of 90 mW/cm² match the Dental Pro 10, as do the enclosure, weight of around 510 kg and power supply. For the series, Prodways cites up to 72 denture bases or 55 aligner models per print job. Tray resins are reserved for the 405 nm models.

Anyone considering a used Dental Pro 20 should check the alignment of the two heads with a full-area test print and compare the operating hours of both projectors. The 385 nm wavelength is important: the laboratory's existing resin stock and validated workflows must match it. Platforms, vats and the operating software licence should also be handed over. Because of the ongoing sale of Prodways' Systems division, the future service organisation should be set out in the contract.
