Pollen AM Pam Series P HT — Technical data
The Pam Series P HT is the high-temperature version of Pollen AM's pellet printer and was released in June 2019. Compared with the Series P it has a chamber heated to 80 °C and a radiant disc that warms the top layer from above to up to 300 °C. This is meant to help layer bonding with engineering plastics. The bed reaches 150 °C, optionally 250 °C. The cylindrical build volume measures 300 mm in diameter and 300 mm in height, with two extruders fitted. The unit weighs 95 kg, and its successor is the pam o2 HT.
When buying a used Series P HT, the heaters are the focus: chamber heating, radiant disc and, if fitted, the 250 °C bed should be demonstrated in operation. High-temperature materials leave residues in screw and nozzle, so look at the pellets processed last and at cleaning records. Pellets must be dried before printing; ask whether a dryer is part of the offer. For software, parameter files and spare parts, Pollen AM is the direct contact, as this is a previous generation.
