Pollen AM Pam Series P — Technical data
The Pam Series P is a pellet printer from Pollen AM in France that processes plastic not as filament but as standard injection moulding granulate. The first Series P appeared in February 2017, followed in March 2018 by the revised New Pam Series P for elastomers and commodity plastics. The round housing, 789 mm in diameter, encloses a cylindrical build volume of 300 mm diameter and 300 mm height. Up to four extruders can be fitted, the bed heats to 150 °C, and there is no heated chamber. Its successor is the pam o2.
Used, the Series P mainly appeals to users who want to test production-grade materials in their original form. Before buying, establish how many extruders are fitted and the condition of screws and nozzles, since filled or abrasive pellets wear them. At 75 kg the unit can still be moved, but it needs a sturdy base. Also clarify the licences for Honeyprint and Pollen's Cura variant, and whether the manufacturer still supplies spare parts for this generation.
