Pollen AM Pam o2 MC — Technical data

The pam o2 MC is the metal and ceramics model of Pollen's fifth generation and the successor to the Series MC. It processes MIM and CIM feedstocks as well as plastics and elastomers in pellet form. Up to four extruders reach 450 °C, the chamber 90 °C, the radiant disc 300 °C and the bed 150 °C or optionally 200 °C. With the radiant disc the cylindrical build volume measures 270 × 300 mm, without it 300 × 300 mm. Nozzles range from 0.25 to 2 mm, layers from 40 µm to 1.2 mm. It runs on 230 V with a power draw of 3,500 W.

For metal and ceramic parts the process does not end at the printer: debinding and sintering need their own furnaces or a service provider, which must be factored into the purchase. Abrasive feedstocks stress screws, barrels and nozzles, so inspect them closely; spare nozzles are valuable. Powder residues should be removed carefully before dismantling. Ask about the feedstocks processed last, proven parameter files and the number of extruders. Remaining warranty and software version are best clarified directly with Pollen AM.

1 · Buy

Matching used machines for this material and build volume.

2 · Let us search

Nothing suitable? We will search for you – or get an e-mail as soon as a matching machine comes in.

3 · Have parts printed

Not worth your own machine? We produce your parts – request from the LayerByLayer 3D printing service.

Buy or have it printed? For small or changing quantities, having parts printed is often cheaper than your own machine. If you regularly fill many build jobs, your own machine pays off.
