Pollen AM Pam o2 HT — Technical data
The pam o2 HT is the high-temperature version of Pollen's fifth generation and follows the Series P HT. Two HT extruders reach 450 °C, the chamber is heated to up to 90 °C, and a radiant disc warms the top layer to up to 300 °C. With the disc fitted, the build diameter shrinks from 300 to 270 mm at 300 mm height. The bed heats to 150 °C, optionally 200 °C. At 834 mm diameter and 95 kg the unit is slightly larger than the base version. It is intended for engineering plastics from injection moulding.
Used, the pam o2 HT is all about the heating: chamber heating, radiant disc and extruders should be demonstrated at target temperature, and a log of recent prints helps. High-temperature materials tend to leave deposits, so check screws and nozzles for coking. It also matters whether the optional 200 °C bed is fitted and which nozzle sizes are included. As the model is current, ask about remaining warranty, software version and a maintenance contract with Pollen AM.
