Nikon SLM Solutions CPS (Central Powder Supply) — Technical data

The Central Powder Supply (CPS) feeds metal powder centrally to an automated SLM 800 production cell. It consists of two 220-litre tanks: a fixed one that supplies the machines and a mobile one for refilling. Powder is sieved twice – between the two tanks and again at each machine just before use. Powder recovered in the SLM HUB when depowdering build cylinders flows back into the central supply. This lets a group of several SLM 800s run on one material for long periods without manual powder transfer.

A used CPS only makes sense together with an SLM 800 and the HUB. Before buying, check that piping and connections are complete, what condition the sieves are in and which material was conveyed. Since the series is no longer actively promoted, clarify spare parts availability with the manufacturer.
