Nexa3D xCURE — Technical data

The xCURE is the post-curing chamber from the Nexa3D range and complements the xWASH washing station. Six LED strips at 365 and 405 nm illuminate the reflective interior from all sides; it cures with UV light only, heat only or both, with profiles stored for individual resins. The chamber takes parts up to about 16 litres, i.e. a full NXE400 build volume or up to three build plates. The unit weighs around 50 kg and runs on 100–230 V with a maximum of 4 A at 120 V.

When buying a used xCURE, the light sources are the focus: ageing LEDs cure unevenly, which affects the strength of functional parts. So ask for the operating hours, check the strips for failures and test the heating. Because Nexa3D stopped at the end of 2024, replacement strips and new curing profiles are not available; anyone using third-party resins has to determine times and temperatures themselves. According to the installation guide, a table 76 to 91 cm high is intended.
