Nexa3D NXE400 — Technical data
The NXE400 was the industrial resin printer with which California-based Nexa3D entered the market in 2019. It uses the company's own LSPc process: 405 nm UV light passes through a 4K LCD mask with a 76.5 µm pixel pitch, while a lubricating sublayer beneath the resin is meant to ease the release of each layer and so allow high build speeds. The build volume measures 275 × 155 × 400 mm, roughly 16 litres. The floor-standing unit weighs about 160 kg and runs on single-phase power. From 2022 Nexa3D offered a Pro upgrade; retrofitted machines are designated NXE400Pro.
Before buying second-hand, bear in mind that Nexa3D ceased operations at the end of 2024. Stratasys took over patents and remaining stock and offers only best-effort support through iSQUARED. Membrane, LCD mask and resin vat are wear parts, so record their condition, the operating hours and any spare parts included. Also important are a working NexaX installation with licence, a supply of suitable resins and clarity on whether the Pro upgrade has already been fitted.
