Nexa3D NXD200 — Technical data
The NXD200 is the dental version of Nexa3D's LSPc platform and came onto the market in April 2021, a year before the technically very similar NXE200. It shares the 275 × 155 mm footprint of the NXE400 but has only 200 mm of build height. The 405 nm UV light is guided through a 4K LCD mask with a 76.5 µm pixel pitch; housing and weight of around 160 kg match the large industrial units. It was aimed at dental laboratories that need to produce many parts in a short time. Connection is via Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
For laboratories considering a used NXD200, materials are the central question: validated dental resins and their print profiles must still be obtainable, otherwise the basis for medical devices is missing. As Nexa3D ceased operations at the end of 2024, there is no manufacturer maintenance any more, and Stratasys offers only limited support. Check membrane, LCD mask and vats for wear, buy spare parts along with the printer and have the NexaX licence transferred in writing.
