MiiCraft Profession 250 — Technical data

The Profession 250 is the industrial DLP resin printer from Taiwanese manufacturer MiiCraft and sits above the benchtop Alpha and Prime 4K models. A 4K projector with 3,840 × 2,160 pixels exposes a 250 × 140 mm area at a 65 µm XY grid, with 190 mm of build height. It works with LED light at 385 or 405 nm, and layer thickness is adjustable from 12.5 to 500 µm. A tilting resin vat reduces peel forces, and the open material system also handles high-viscosity third-party resins. The floor-standing unit is around 2 m tall and weighs 260 to 300 kg depending on the source; its smaller sibling is the Profession 120.

For a used Profession 250, first establish the wavelength of the fitted light engine, as it determines which resins are suitable. The manual lists the vat's Teflon film as a wear part without a fixed replacement interval, so inspect film and vat closely. Light source hours, calibration across the whole area, platform and firmware version also matter. For transport and installation, plan for a pallet truck and a room at 10 to 30 °C with 40 to 60 % humidity.
