MiiCraft Profession 120 — Technical data

The Profession 120 is the high-resolution version of MiiCraft's Profession range. It uses the same 4K projector as the Profession 250 but concentrates the pixels on an area of only 120 × 67 mm, resulting in a 30 µm XY grid instead of 65 µm. Build height is 190 mm, layer thickness ranges from 12.5 to 500 µm, and exposure is by LED at 385 or 405 nm. It is therefore aimed at small, detailed parts such as jewellery models, dental work or microfluidics that are to be produced at high utilisation. Housing, touch panel operation and open material system match the larger sibling.

Used, the Profession 120 suits businesses that need small parts at high resolution and can accommodate a floor-standing unit around 2 m tall. Confirm the variant on the nameplate, as both Profession models look the same. At a 30 µm grid, errors in calibration, film and platform flatness are more visible, so a test print with fine structures is advisable. Also check light source hours, wavelength, firmware and the material profiles supplied.
