MiiCraft Alpha — Technical data

The Alpha is the most compact DLP printer in MiiCraft's current range and is aimed at users looking for a small, affordable resin printer for lab, school or workshop. A projector with 2,560 × 1,440 pixels exposes a 150 × 84.4 mm area at 405 nm with a 58 µm XY grid; at 75 mm, build height is much lower than on the Prime 4K. Layer thickness ranges from 10 to 500 µm. The unit measures 30 × 40 × 43 cm, weighs 20 kg and is powered by an external supply. It is operated via a 5-inch touch panel, with data arriving by Ethernet or USB.

Used, the Alpha is a light unit that ships easily, where the wear parts matter most: vat and film, platform and LED brightness. The low 75 mm build height should suit your parts. Since only 405 nm is offered, resins for this wavelength are required, though the open system allows third-party material. The power supply, firmware version and the utility software for print preparation should be handed over too.
