MiiCraft Advance 255 — Technical data

The Advance 255 is a large-format DLP printer from MiiCraft housed in the same floor-standing cabinet as the Profession models. Instead of a 4K projector it uses two Full HD projectors side by side, achieving a build area of 255 × 235 mm with 190 mm of height, though with a coarse XY grid of 125 µm. Exposure is by LED at 405 nm. According to the 2021 manual, the machine measures 82 × 75 × 200 cm and weighs around 300 kg; it is connected single-phase via a power supply, with data arriving by Ethernet, USB or Wi-Fi. It was intended for large models and many parts per build job. The Advance range is missing from the current website.

With a used Advance 255, note that two projectors expose one area together. Even brightness and a clean transition in the middle of the image should therefore be checked on a large-area test print. Projector hours, the Teflon film as a wear part, vat and platform also matter. Since the range is no longer on the manufacturer's site, ask MiiCraft about spare projectors and films beforehand and have the manual and firmware handed over.
