MiiCraft Advance 205 — Technical data

The Advance 205 is the smaller of MiiCraft's two Advance models. Like the Advance 255 it works with two Full HD projectors and LED light at 405 nm, but spreads the pixels over a 205 × 185 mm build area, reaching a 100 µm XY grid; build height is likewise 190 mm. The 2021 manual gives the range a floor-standing cabinet of 82 × 75 × 200 cm, around 300 kg and a connection via power supply to 100 to 240 V. Compared with the Profession 250 it offers more area but less detail, and suits medium-sized models, moulds or fixtures. It is no longer promoted.

For a used Advance 205 the same checks apply as for its larger sibling, with emphasis on the dual exposure: both projectors must be equally bright and precisely aligned, otherwise a seam shows in the part. Ask for the hours of both light sources, inspect film and vat as wear parts and check platform flatness. For installation and transport of the 300 kg cabinet, plan for a pallet truck and a temperature-controlled room.
