Meltio M600 — Technical data

Since 2024 the M600 has been Meltio's standalone system for wire-laser deposition and the successor to the small M450. Its main novelty is the head with nine blue diode lasers at 450 nm and 1,000 W combined; metals absorb blue light better than infrared, which also opens up copper and aluminium. The build envelope measures 300 × 400 × 600 mm, the machine weighs 800 to 1,000 kg depending on options and needs three-phase power. Quad Wire allows up to four wires to be switched automatically.

Used M600 units are still young, so history counts most: laser hours, condition of protective glasses and nozzle, wire feeders and filter stages. Clarify which options such as Hot Wire, Dual or Quad Wire and wire drum connection are included and whether the slicer subscription and warranty can be transferred. Plan installation with crane or forklift, three-phase supply and shielding gas in advance. Arrange a test print with your own wire.
