Massivit 5000 — Technical data

The Massivit 5000 is the dual-head model in Massivit's current range. Two print heads with their own X, Y and Z axes work simultaneously by gel dispensing, optionally with two different Dimengel grades, in a build volume of 1,450 × 1,110 × 1,800 mm. Five print modes from 0.5 to 1.5 mm bead size range from fine surfaces to fast rough parts; in Z the part grows by up to 35 cm per hour. Added to this are a mould mode, live print broadcasting and further materials such as high-strength Dimengel 110 or impact-resistant 400. According to the brochure it is fully upgradeable.

When buying a used 5000, look at the configuration: older brochures mention versions with one or two heads and the 5000MAX variant. Then check both heads, gel feed, pumps, UV units, axes and platform including hour meters, ideally in a test print with two materials. Also important are transferable slicer licences, an active service contract and the question of which Dimengel grades are approved.
