Massivit 1800 Pro — Technical data

The Massivit 1800 Pro is the dual-head version of the 1800 range. Two independent heads deposit the UV-curing gel by gel dispensing and can print two parts at once in a build volume of 1.45 × 1.11 × 1.80 m. The manufacturer states up to 35 cm of build height per hour; dealers list around 2.5 t of weight, a 32 A three-phase supply, roughly 10 kW of power draw and compressed air at 6 to 8 bar. Typical parts are figures, vehicle mock-ups, exhibition and retail fittings, and illuminated signage using transparent gel. Massivit now lists the 1800 Pro as a legacy model, replaced by the Massivit 3000.

Used, the 1800 Pro offers more throughput thanks to the second head, but it also doubles wear parts and inspection effort. Both heads with nozzles, gel pumps, hoses and UV curing should run in a test print, and hour meters, axes and platform should be inspected. Since manufacturer service for the 1800 range ends in July 2027 according to the end-of-life letter, Dimengel stocks, spare heads and a service agreement with Massivit or a dealer belong in the negotiation.
