Massivit 1500 — Technical data

The Massivit 1500 is a large-format printer from Israeli manufacturer Massivit that uses gel dispensing: a head deposits a viscous, UV-curing gel called Dimengel, which solidifies instantly under UV light as it leaves the nozzle. This produces large, often hollow parts such as figures, displays, exhibition builds or stage sets without support structures. According to dealer information, the 1500 offers a build volume of about 1.45 × 1.17 × 1.47 m with one print head and parts up to 150 kg. The machine weighs around 2.5 t and needs a 32 A three-phase supply and compressed air. Massivit discontinued the 1500 together with the 1800 in July 2026.

When buying used, the support period is decisive: according to the manufacturer, technical service for the 1500 ends in July 2027, with only best-effort help afterwards. A purchase is therefore only worthwhile with secured supply of Dimengel and spare parts for print head, gel feed and UV units. Check operating hours, the condition of head, pumps and hoses, UV lamps and axes, and the compressed air and power connections on site. Plan for a crane or specialist haulier for transport and installation.
