Markforged Mark Two™Technical data

Markforged Mark Two 3D Printer – Carbon, Kevlar, Fiberglass

Description:

The Markforged Mark Two prints functional parts that hold up: The contour is created from Onyx or Nylon, while a second nozzle simultaneously lays continuous carbon, glass, or aramid fiber into the part. Because the fiber remains uninterrupted, it absorbs tensile and compressive forces over its entire length. This creates fixtures, tools, and replacement parts with a strength-to-weight ratio that conventional 3D-printed parts cannot achieve.

The printer stands in the office, not in the workshop: standard power outlet, no extraction system, no special room required.

Technical Data:

  • Build volume 320 x 132 x 154 mm
  • Layer height 100 to 200 µm
  • Base materials: Onyx, Nylon, Precise PLA, Smooth TPU 95A
  • Continuous fibers: Carbon fiber, Fiberglass, Aramid (Kevlar), HSHT Fiberglass
  • Build plate made from precision-ground composite material, ±10 µm
  • Dimensions 584 x 330 x 355 mm, 16 kg
  • Connection via LAN, USB, or WLAN

Operation via Eiger:The software runs in the browser—nothing to install and updates come automatically. Upload STL file, set fiber orientation and fiber density per layer using sliders, send job to printer. Eiger automatically generates support structures. Printing can be paused to embed bearings, sensors, or electronics directly.

Exemplary package contents for new devices:

  • 1x Build plate (Desktop Series True Bed)
  • 3x Replacement plastic nozzle, 3x Replacement fiber nozzle
  • 1x Drying box
  • 1x Tool kit
