Lithoz CeraFab System S65 Medical — Technical data

The CeraFab System S65 Medical is the version of the S65 tailored to medicine and dentistry. Mechanics and exposure match the industrial model: LCM process with DLP projector, build envelope 102 × 64 × 320 mm, 40 µm lateral resolution and 10 to 200 µm layer thickness. The difference lies in software and material selection. CeraDoc 4 Med automatically documents every print job and makes it traceable, as required for medical devices. Recommended materials are zirconia, hydroxyapatite and alumina-toughened zirconia; Lithoz also names lithium disilicate restorations and bioresorbable bone substitute structures as applications.

Anyone planning to use a used Medical system for medical devices needs more than the machine: validation documents, qualification records and complete documentation of previous use are decisive. Clarify whether the CeraDoc 4 Med licence is transferable and whether medical materials can still be sourced. Technically, the S65 checkpoints apply: projector hours, vat and blade, build platforms and chamber heating. The room needs yellow light, stable temperature and low humidity. Debinding and sintering take place in separate, specifically qualified furnaces. Plan for revalidation after relocation.
