Lithoz CeraFab Multi 2M30 — Technical data

The CeraFab Multi 2M30 extends Lithoz's LCM process with a second material component. Two vats with different slurries are used alternately, and the machine cleans the part automatically in between, so two materials can be combined even within a single layer. Possible pairings are ceramic with ceramic, metal or polymer, for example dense and porous, conductive and insulating or bioresorbable and bioinert, also with a gradual transition. The build envelope is 76 × 43 × 170 mm, resolution 35 µm and layers 10 to 100 µm. The unit is 1.8 m long and weighs 560 kg.

Used, the Multi 2M30 is a specialist machine for developing new composite components. Besides projector hours and the condition of both vats, check the automatic cleaning between material changes, as carry-over spoils the interfaces. Cleaning station, dispensing and build platforms are part of the complete scope. As an open system it allows your own slurries; still clarify which parameters and modules such as CeraTune are transferable. Yellow light and a stable temperature are mandatory. With two materials in one part, debinding and sintering profiles must be matched, and the furnaces come on top.
