Lithoz CeraFab Lab L30 — Technical data
The CeraFab Lab L30 is Lithoz's entry-level laboratory unit for lithography-based ceramic manufacturing. It is aimed at research, material development and small series and, with a 0.75 × 0.55 m footprint and 250 kg, is much more compact than the System series. The build envelope is 76 × 43 × 170 mm, lateral resolution 40 µm and layers 25 to 100 µm. Exposure is by LED and DLP mask from below, and the slurry is dispensed into the vat automatically from as little as 15 ml. It runs on 230 V at 16 A. An Ultra-High-Contrast system for finer details is available as an upgrade.
Because the L30 is often found at universities and in development departments, used buyers should look at how it was used: frequent changes with trial slurries wear vat and blade. Projector hours, build platform and available spare vats belong in the assessment. Check whether the UHC upgrade and CeraAccess are installed and transferable and which material parameters come with it. Even the small unit requires yellow light, constant room temperature and low humidity. Debinding and sintering need separate laboratory furnaces. Lithoz offers training and support for this model too.
