Intamsys FUNMAT PRO 310 APOLLO — Technical data

The FUNMAT PRO 310 APOLLO is the newest model of Intamsys' 310 family and is listed as new on the manufacturer's website. It keeps the frame, IDEX principle and 305 × 260 × 260 mm build volume but, unlike the NEO, is approved for high-performance plastics such as PEEK, PEKK and fibre-reinforced PEEK; in total Intamsys lists 35 materials. The chamber holds a stable 100 °C, and print speed is stated as up to 200 mm/s. The software covers slicing, remote monitoring and quality traceability.

Used APOLLO units are still rare, usually demo machines or briefly used systems. It is therefore important to agree warranty, software licences for INTAMSUITE and INTAMQuality and service access with the manufacturer. If a lot of PEEK has been printed, hot ends, nozzles and the high-temperature insulation deserve special attention. As the manufacturer's page does not yet give all key data, have nozzle temperature and power connection confirmed in writing before buying. Checks should include IDEX alignment, filament drying and a test print in a high-temperature material.
