Intamsys FUNMAT PRO 310 — Technical data

The FUNMAT PRO 310 was the first model of Intamsys' 310 range, an enclosed IDEX printer with two independent print heads for engineering plastics. With one nozzle 305 × 260 × 260 mm is available, with both 260 × 260 × 260 mm; duplicate and mirror modes double output for series parts. The nozzles reach 300 °C, the bed 160 °C and the chamber 100 °C. It is therefore aimed at PC, polyamides and fibre-reinforced materials rather than PEEK. Successors on the same frame are the FUNMAT PRO 310 NEO and the APOLLO.

When buying used, first check whether the machine on offer really is the original 310 or already a NEO; the rating plate and nozzle temperature tell you. On IDEX machines, check the alignment of both heads, the parking positions and the X-axis guides, and ask for a print in mirror mode. Chamber heating to 100 °C stresses fans and seals. Ask about print hours, nozzle changes and spare parts stock, as parts will in future have to be sourced via the successor models. Slicer licence and firmware version belong in the handover.
