Intamsys FUNMAT HT — Technical data

The FUNMAT HT is Intamsys' compact high-temperature printer and has been on the market since 2016. A single all-metal hot end reaches up to 450 °C, the bed 160 °C and the enclosed chamber 90 °C, allowing PEEK, PEKK, PEI and PPSU to be processed on a benchtop machine. The build volume is 260 × 260 × 260 mm and the weight 63 kg. The Enhanced version appeared in 2019 with automatic levelling, a magnetic glass-ceramic plate and revised drives; today the manufacturer lists the machine simply as FUNMAT HT again.

For a used purchase it matters whether the unit is an early machine or the Enhanced version, as bed design and levelling differ. On machines with a lot of PEEK use, hot end, nozzles and heating elements wear faster and the chamber insulation can become brittle. Ask for print hours, replaced parts and which hot end type is fitted, as only the high-temperature hot end reaches 450 °C. A dry box for PEEK filament really belongs with it. During a test run, take chamber and bed to their maximum temperatures and watch how long it takes.
