The HP Multi Jet Fusion 1200 is an announced compact system and the smallest model in the MJF family so far. The build volume holds 12 litres (320 × 165 × 230 mm); a full build with PA 12 is expected to take under twelve hours. According to HP, the package includes a Material Management System for unpacking and powder recovery, a Natural Cooling Unit and two material tanks; build preparation is done with Magics Print for HP. The system connects to 200–240 V with 2 × 16 A, and according to the manufacturer no dedicated extraction is needed. Only PA 12 is approved at launch, which is planned for early 2027.

Used units will appear only after market launch. Anyone buying one then should check whether the Material Management System and cooling unit are included, which materials have been approved by then, how the software is licensed and whether warranty or service contracts transfer. As with the large MJF systems, printhead and lamp condition and operating hours also matter.
