HP Jet Fusion 5210 — Technical data

The HP Jet Fusion 5210 is a variant of the 5200 series for operations with higher production volumes. Build volume (380 × 284 × 380 mm), layer thickness and mechanics match the 5200; according to an HP reseller, it differs mainly in its commercial model: a higher purchase price in exchange for better terms on powder and agents and thus lower part costs. HP no longer lists the 5210 on its marketing pages, only in the support area and with its own installation kit in the store. It processes the materials of the 5200 platform, from PA 11 and PA 12 to PP and TPU.

When buying used, clarify whether the 5210 terms are tied to the machine or to the previous owner's contract, otherwise little of the advantage remains. The familiar 5200 checks also apply: print hours, service history, condition of printheads and lamps, and the included processing station and build units. The serial number should be registered with HP as a 5210.
