HP Jet Fusion 5200 Series 3D Automatic Unpacking Station — Technical data

The HP Jet Fusion 5200 Series 3D Automatic Unpacking Station unpacks builds from the current MJF printers fully automatically. HP developed it together with AM Solutions of the Rösler group, and it is manufactured in Germany. The station takes the build from a Natural Cooling Unit, separates parts and powder even at high temperature, conveys loose powder to an external tank and discharges the parts into an unloading box. In Balanced mode a cycle takes from about 20 minutes according to HP. It is compatible with the 5200 series, 5420W and 5600; it needs compressed air at around 6.8 bar and 2,500 l/min as well as a 400 V connection.

Used, the station is of interest for operations with several MJF printers that want to cut labour in unpacking. Clarify the compressed air supply, the number of Natural Cooling Units available and the condition of sieve, vibration mechanism and conveying system in advance.
