HP Jet Fusion 3D Processing Station (M0P42A) — Technical data
The HP Jet Fusion 3D Processing Station with order number M0P42A is the basic powder station of the first MJF generation and, according to HP's 2016 brochure, intended only for the Jet Fusion 3200. It automatically mixes new and recycled powder, sieves it and loads it into the build unit; unpacking the parts, however, is done manually. Compared with the fast-cooling variant it is much more compact (1926 × 1245 × 2400 mm) and slightly lighter at 450 kg empty, but lacks accelerated cooling of builds. Like the 3200, the station is discontinued.
Used, the station makes sense almost only as a package with a 3200. Buyers should check whether sieve, seals and suction lines are intact, whether spare parts are still available and whether extraction for manual unpacking is in place. As the platform is being phased out, spare parts supply matters more than the purchase price.
