German RepRap X1000 — Technical data
The X1000 was German RepRap's large-format printer and was presented at Euromold at the end of 2014. Its 1,000 × 800 × 600 mm build volume, roughly 480 litres, produces large prototypes, moulds and models in PLA, optionally with PVA support. As standard it prints with a 0.8 mm nozzle and layers up to 0.6 mm to keep print times in check. Version 2 added a heated bed, door locking, a filament sensor with pause function and an optional CO2 fire suppression system in the enclosed build space. The machine weighs around 400 kg and requires 400 V three-phase power.
Used X1000 units may come from universities, exhibition stand builders or design studios, for example. As innovatiQ ceased business operations in June 2026, maintenance records and spare parts should come with the machine; Schichtarbeit 3D offers service. Find out whether it is version 1 or 2 and whether heated bed and dual extruder are fitted. Inspect the long X axis, belts, guides, levelling of the large plate and any fire suppression system with its inspection date. For transport and installation, plan a forklift, a door width over 1.5 m and a CEE connection.
