Formlabs Fuse Sift — Technical data

The Fuse Sift is the powder station of the Fuse 1 system. In a cabinet with negative pressure and a HEPA filter, the build chamber is unpacked, unsintered powder is extracted, sieved and mixed with fresh powder; storage hoppers for fresh powder (17 l) and used powder (18 l) are built in. The station measures 101.5 × 61 × 154.5 cm, weighs 93 kg and needs a dedicated 230 V circuit with 7.5 A, or 10 A with a stronger vacuum. A static-dissipative, grounded auxiliary vacuum is required, for example per NFPA 652. It fits the Fuse 1 and Fuse 1+ 30W; the Fuse X1 has its own station.

Without a Fuse Sift or a comparable solution, a Fuse printer is cumbersome in daily use, which is why it is in demand used. Check sieve, HEPA filter, cabinet seals and the mixing function. Ask whether the auxiliary vacuum is included and meets the requirements for combustible dusts, and which powders were processed last – residues of other grades must be removed completely before a material change. The station should be handed over emptied and cleaned.
