Formlabs Form Wash L (2. Generation) — Technical data

The second-generation Form Wash L accompanies the Form 4L and cleans one 4L build platform or, with the adapter, two Form 4 platforms at once. Compared with the first generation the bucket grew to 43 l and the maximum part size to 35.3 × 20 × 29.6 cm; Formlabs cites 1.5 times more agitation from the impeller. Dimensions of 78 × 46 × 67 cm, weight of 56.7 kg and power connection stayed the same. The station is compatible with current and earlier Formlabs SLA printers back to the Form 2.

With a used second-generation Wash L, look at bucket, seals and pump, i.e. all parts in contact with solvent. Clarify whether wash basket and platform adapter are complete and which solvent was used, IPA or TPM. Sellers should hand the unit over empty. Because of its size, Formlabs recommends a space of 100 × 120 × 120 cm; the 1 A power connection, in contrast, is uncritical. A photo of the rating plate clearly identifies the generation.
