Formlabs Form Wash L (1. Generation) — Technical data

The first-generation Form Wash L is Formlabs' large washing station and was created as the counterpart to the Form 3L. A 37.9 l bucket takes parts up to 33.5 × 20 × 30 cm, a magnetically coupled impeller agitates the solvent, and an electric pump helps with filling and draining. With the included adapter, Form 3 build platforms can also be washed. The unit measures 78 × 46 × 67 cm, weighs 56.7 kg without solvent and draws only 1 A. It was replaced by the second generation with a larger bucket for the Form 4L.

The Form Wash L is often offered together with a Form 3L. Check bucket and seals for cracks and discolouration, the running of the impeller and the function of the pump. The unit should be handed over empty and cleaned, as large quantities of isopropyl alcohol are dangerous goods. The Form 4L is missing from the first generation's compatibility list – the second generation is intended for it. Because of the weight and an opening height of 113 cm, plan the installation site.
