Farsoon SS403P-H — Technical data

The SS403P-H is the standard version of Farsoon's large CO₂ laser sintering systems. It shares the housing, the 400 × 400 × 540 mm build cylinder and the 0.06 to 0.3 mm layer range with the HT403P-H, but runs at a maximum chamber temperature of 190 °C. According to the manufacturer's page it is fitted, like the HT version, with a 100 W CO₂ laser and digital galvo scanner. This makes it suitable for PA12 and TPU applications such as housings, brackets or small series in a service bureau. Farsoon keeps machine parameters open, so in-house process development is possible. Its predecessor is the SS403P with a shorter housing.

Used SS403P-H machines should come with records of laser output and temperature distribution. Key points are wear on recoater blade and heaters, the condition of the optics and of the exchangeable cylinders. Powder residue and used powder pose dust risks, so plan extraction and cleaning when dismantling. Service and spare parts in Europe are handled by Farsoon Europe in Stuttgart; a maintenance record eases the handover.
