Farsoon HT252P — Technical data

The HT252P is Farsoon's compact high-temperature system for polymer laser sintering. A 55 W CO₂ laser exposes a 250 × 250 × 320 mm build cylinder at up to 10 m/s, and the chamber is heated to a maximum of 220 °C. With a footprint of 1,735 × 1,205 mm and around 1.7 t, it is much smaller than the 403P series and suits prototyping, small series, universities and material development. Farsoon opens the machine parameters, which makes in-house trials with polyamide, PP or TPU powders easier. Above it in the 252P series sit the ST252P (280 °C) and UT252P (340 °C).

Used HT252P machines often come from research institutions. Key points are laser hours and output, the condition of heaters, recoater and laser window, and the record of the last temperature calibration. As research machines were often run with many powders, the chamber should be handed over thoroughly cleaned. Nitrogen supply, three-phase connection and transferable software licences should also be checked.
