Farsoon FS721M — Technical data

The FS721M is Farsoon's metal system with a long, flat 720 × 420 × 420 mm build area, suited to elongated parts, for example in tool and mould making or automotive. According to reseller data, the non-linked version came with two 500 W fibre lasers and, as the FS721M-4, with four lasers. The platform was introduced in 2021; the machine weighs around 5.5 t and has a 5,200 × 2,800 mm footprint. It processes stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, nickel alloys and maraging steel. Farsoon now continues the platform as the FS721M CAMS with eight 1,000 W lasers and a conveyor system.

When buying used, first clarify the actual number of lasers, as sources cite two, four or eight depending on the version. For multi-laser machines, a calibration record of the overlap zones is a mandatory document. Also check laser hours, filters, gas flow across the long build area, recoater and controls. Agree spare parts supply and software updates for the earlier version with Farsoon Europe.
