Farsoon FS621M-6 — Technical data

The FS621M-6 uses the housing and build cylinder of the FS621M-4 (620 × 620 × 1,100 mm) but works with six 500 W fibre lasers. More beam sources on the same area shorten build time for large, solid parts in nickel alloys, titanium or stainless steel. Layer thickness (0.02–0.1 mm), inert gas demand of 8–10 l/min argon or nitrogen, weight of around eight tonnes and connected load match the four-laser version. For even larger parts Farsoon offers the FS621M Pro-6 with 808 mm depth and the FS621M-U-6 with 1,700 mm build height.

When buying a used FS621M-6, laser hours and output of all six lasers and a current calibration record should be available. Also check filter system, gas flow, recoater, build platform lift and oxygen measurement. Dismantling a machine of this size takes several days and requires specialists; costs for transport, foundation and recommissioning by Farsoon Europe belong in the calculation, as do transferable licences.
