Farsoon FS350M-6 — Technical data

The FS350M-6 is the six-laser version of the FS350M. It uses the same 433 × 358 × 400 mm build cylinder and housing as the FS350M-4 but spreads exposure across six fibre lasers of 500 W each, or 1,000 W with beam shaping. With the same footprint, throughput increases, making the machine attractive for series production of tool inserts, automotive and aerospace components. Layers of 0.02 to 0.1 mm, argon or nitrogen as inert gas and a material list with 316L, AlSi10Mg, AlMgSc and titanium alloys match the four-laser version.

With six beam sources, inspecting a used FS350M-6 takes more effort: operating hours and power values should be available for each laser, plus a calibration record for all overlap zones. Filter system, gas flow, recoater and oxygen monitoring are equally important. Depending on the laser option, the connection can reach 80 A. Licences, parameter sets and service history with Farsoon Europe should be handed over fully documented.
