Farsoon FS1521M-U-16 — Technical data

The FS1521M-U-16 is the entry configuration of Farsoon's largest metal laser melting system. The build cylinder is available round at Ø 1,530 mm or square at 1,530 × 1,530 mm, each 1,650 mm high. Sixteen 500 W fibre lasers expose the build area. The machine measures 13.75 × 6.53 m at almost 7 m height and weighs around 65 t. It is intended for metre-scale single parts and series in aerospace, automotive and energy. Released materials include TA15, IN718, IN625, AlSi10Mg and 316L. The FS1521M-U-32 version doubles the number of lasers.

A used FS1521M-U-16 is not an ordinary machine purchase but a site project: foundation, hall height, crane runway, inert gas supply of 35–40 l/min and a connection of up to 160 A must be in place or plannable. Before signing, all 16 lasers including calibration, the filter system and powder logistics should be inspected. Dismantling, transport and recommissioning are only realistic together with Farsoon Europe.
