Farsoon Flight ST252P — Technical data

The Flight ST252P is the fibre laser version of the ST252P, aimed at users who want to combine high process temperatures with short exposure times. Its chamber reaches 280 °C, and the 300 W fibre laser scans the 250 × 250 × 320 mm build cylinder at up to 20 m/s. Farsoon describes the Flight 252P platform as a flexible base for material development and high-temperature applications; open parameters support in-house test series. Housing and weight of around 1.7 t match the Flight HT252P.

When buying a used Flight ST252P, ask exactly which materials and temperatures were run, as high-temperature operation stresses heaters, insulation and seals. Fibre laser output, scanner calibration and protective glass belong in the inspection report. Taking over existing parameter sets saves development time. Also clarify powder supply for fibre-laser materials, the 25 A three-phase connection, inert gas supply and licence transfer.
