Farsoon Flight HT403P — Technical data

The Flight HT403P belongs to the first generation of Farsoon's Flight technology, with which the company moved large-format polymer laser sintering to fibre lasers. According to the 2022 data sheet, a 500 W fibre laser scanning at up to 20 m/s exposes a 400 × 400 × 450 mm build cylinder, optionally 540 mm high; the chamber reaches 220 °C. The housing measures 2,470 × 1,500 × 2,145 mm and the weight is around 3,060 kg. It was used for high-throughput PA12 series parts, such as protective covers for underwater thrusters. Farsoon now sells the revised Flight HT403P-H with a 300 W laser.

When buying a used first-generation Flight HT403P, laser hours, power measurement and scanner calibration matter more than on many CO₂ machines, because the high scan speed leaves narrow tolerances. Also check cylinder height, heaters, recoater and filters. As the design has been superseded, confirm the availability of spare parts and software updates through Farsoon Europe before signing.
