Farsoon Flight HT252P — Technical data

The Flight HT252P brings Farsoon's fibre laser technology to the compact 252P format. A 300 W fibre laser with a three-axis galvo system exposes the 250 × 250 × 320 mm build cylinder at up to 20 m/s, twice as fast as the CO₂ version HT252P. The chamber reaches 220 °C; Farsoon lists fibre-laser polyamides, PA11 and TPU as materials. At around 1.7 t and a 1,735 × 1,205 mm footprint, it fits development departments and smaller production shops that want short build times without investing in a 403P. Its chamber temperature is 60 K lower than that of the Flight ST252P.

For a used Flight HT252P, the main checks are a power measurement of the fibre laser, scanner calibration, protective glass and heating zones. As the materials are matched to fibre lasers, clarify which powders and parameters the previous owner used and how supply will work in future. Also check recoater, filters, the 25 A three-phase connection and the transferable BuildStar and MakeStar licences.
