Farsoon Flight HT1001P — Technical data

The Flight HT1001P is the fibre laser version of Farsoon's large-format polymer system. Four 300 W fibre lasers scanning at up to 20 m/s expose a 1,000 × 500 × 450 mm build cylinder, and the chamber reaches 220 °C. The full module is 5.8 m long and weighs around five tonnes, the build station alone about 3.5 t. As part of the CAMS concept, builds cool down under inert gas outside the build station while the machine produces the next job. Farsoon thus targets large end-use parts and high-output series; compared with the CO₂ version HT1001P, exposure capacity is the main gain.

Before buying a used Flight HT1001P, all four lasers should be measured and the calibration of the overlap zones documented. Heaters, recoater, powder circuit and the completeness of the module stations also matter. Logistics, the 50 A three-phase connection, nitrogen supply and floor load capacity must be clarified early, as must service, spare parts and licence transfer through Farsoon Europe.
