Farsoon eForm — Technical data

The eForm is Farsoon's entry-level polymer laser sintering system, marketed from 2018 as a lower-cost alternative to the industrial models. It uses the housing of the 252P series with a 250 × 250 × 320 mm build cylinder, but is fitted with a 30 W CO₂ laser, a maximum scan speed of 7.6 m/s and a 190 °C chamber temperature. Touchscreen operation and Farsoon's BuildStar and MakeStar software are meant to ease the entry. It processes polyamides and PP. The eForm no longer appears in Farsoon's current product overview.

Used, the eForm suits companies wanting to try laser sintering on a small budget. Because of the low-power laser, build times are longer, so have the actual laser output measured. Also check heaters, recoater, laser window and nitrogen supply. Despite its compact design the machine weighs around 1.7 t and needs a 32 A three-phase supply.
