Farsoon 403P Series External Cooling Station — Technical data

The External Cooling Station for the 403P series is a standalone Farsoon cooling unit. After a build, the cylinder with the part cake is removed from the laser sintering machine and cooled down in the station under nitrogen in a controlled way. The machine can thus start the next job instead of waiting hours for cooling, which noticeably improves utilisation. The station is compact at 880 × 480 × 1,200 mm and 45 kg, runs on single-phase power at 6 A and, according to the data sheet, needs around 15 l/min of nitrogen at 0.4 MPa.

Used, the station mainly makes sense together with a 403P series machine. Before buying, check that it fits the existing build cylinders, as housings and cylinders may differ between 403P and 403P-H. Gas-tight connections, working temperature control and sensors, and the condition of the cylinder mount also matter.
