Eplus3D EP-M300 — Technical data
The EP-M300 came onto the market in May 2021 and is the square 300 mm format of Eplus3D's Flex Line. Its build volume measures 300 × 300 × 450 mm including the build plate; at launch the manufacturer quoted 305 × 305 × 450 mm. It can be fitted with one or two fibre lasers of 500, 700 or 1,000 W, and the focus is 70–120 µm. Eplus3D quotes up to 140 cc/h in theory; the connected load is 6–12 kW at 380 V depending on equipment, and the weight around 3.2 t. The equally sized EP-M300L, designed for series production, is a separate machine.
Used, the EP-M300 is interesting for users making mid-sized tool inserts, brackets or aerospace parts. Because of the many laser options, record the scope of delivery precisely. With 1,000 W lasers, look at cooling, optics contamination and protective glass. Also check filter life, recoater, seals and gas consumption, and clarify which material packages and software licences are transferable.
