Eplus3D EP-C7250 — Technical data

The EP-C7250 is Eplus3D's larger foundry model and, like the EP-C5050, produces laser-sintered patterns from polystyrene powder for investment casting. Its build field measures 720 × 720 × 500 mm, making it suitable for large-area housing, pump or impeller patterns. A 120 W CO2 laser with dynamic focusing works at up to 6 m/s, and layer thickness ranges from 0.08 to 0.3 mm. Powder is loaded automatically and spread in both directions. The system measures 2.0 × 1.5 × 2.65 m, weighs around 2.1 t and needs 11 kW of three-phase power.

For a used EP-C7250 the large, flat build area is both an opportunity and a checkpoint: uniform temperature and focus position across 720 mm width decide the dimensional accuracy of the patterns. Ask to see test patterns with a measurement report. Also check the laser source, mirrors, dynamic focusing unit, automatic loading and recoater mechanics. As with the smaller sister, clarify whether the Windows 7 control is still supported.
