EOS EOS P 810 — Technical data

EOS introduced the EOS P 810 in 2018 as a high-temperature laser sintering system for carbon-fibre-reinforced PEKK. It is tailored to one material, ALM HT-23 from Advanced Laser Materials, and is aimed at users who want to produce light, stiff plastic parts in series. Two 70 W CO₂ lasers expose a 700 × 380 × 380 mm build volume in 120 µm layers, with a build rate of up to 10 mm of height per hour. Compared with the EOSINT P 800, it is regarded as the second generation of this machine class, with EOSPRINT 2, EOSCONNECT and laser power monitoring. EOS no longer lists it on its website.

A used P 810 makes most sense for companies that use HT-23 or want to take over existing processes. Check laser hours, the condition of heating, insulation and recoater, whether software licences can be transferred, and the source and availability of the material. The machine requires 32 A at 400 V and weighs around 2.3 t. For qualified applications, complete records of maintenance and process parameters also matter.
